Mid afternoon today the family party of BKC, BJA and cygnet seen at the beach in JKMP. This will be the last time I see them. Remnants of the nest used by BKC and BJA  Also saw a large number (25) of Red-rumped Parrots feeding below the She-oaks and a Rakali, Hydromyse chrysogaster, briefly came out of the water onto a rock.  On the west side of the basin the feral ducks were displaying. Seems as though they were all drakes and they were facing off with each other. Some Forward Shakes seen but little else.

At 3:30pm the Cob BJA and Pen BKC  were   in the JKMP basin, near the little bridge, with their cygnet that is almost two months old. The cygnet is now about 2/3rds the body length of an adult.
